Business Card Durability

At times many of us don't know the difference between 12pt, 14pt and 16pt cards stocks. This leads us to decide based off of factors we DO know about, such as cost. When the alternatives are not presented for you to feel the difference, one can be easily victimized by the impulsive sales tactics to close a deal. This leads to a flimsy outcome which is then passed on to your customers.

A business card is an impression. It's a reminder of who you were, what you discussed and why was your business card received. When the moment comes that your card is being looked at in detail, you want every aspect of that presentation to satisfy the impression you made in person. This is why it is important to know the difference between paper stocks.

The dollar test is a great method to test the firmness of a business card. In most cases, 12pt and 14pt cards can't hold 4 quarters without angled assistance or at all. So what's the big deal in that? When a business card is accepted, most of the time it's placed in a pocket or wallet filled with other things that with movement, can begin to hack away at your cards durability by the end of the day. Don't be like everyone one else when you only have one shot at making a great impression.
